Tennessee volleyball opened its 2026 season Friday night with a sweep of Colgate 25-17, 25-12, 25-12 in front of a record crowd of 7,924.
Kennedi Rogers set the tone in her Tennessee debut, finishing with a game-high 14 kills to go with 10 digs and a game-high 15 points. Jalyn Stout was right there with her, posting 13 kills on .684 hitting without a single attack error, plus seven digs, three assists and three blocks. Nia Hall added seven kills and five digs as the transfer trio combined for the bulk of the Lady Vols’ offense.
Fifth-year All-American setter Caroline Kerr ran the show, dishing a game-high 37 assists while hitting .800 herself and chipping in four blocks. Chelsea Sutton anchored the front line with a match-best five blocks, and Raegan Burns put in 11 digs.
Tennessee never let Colgate breathe, holding the Raiders to 12 points in each of the final two sets after pulling away late in the first.
