No. 15 Tennessee football takes to the road to face the Arkansas Razorbacks Saturday in Fayetteville. Kickoff is set for 4:15 p.m. ET/3:15 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on SEC Network. Matt Schumacker will have the play-by-play with Aaron Murray as the analyst. Taylor Davis will report from the sideline.
Tennessee is looking to improve to 5-1 on the season and get its first win in Fayetteville since 2001. The Vols average 240.6 rushing yards per game, second in the Southeastern Conference, while the Razorbacks give up 146 yards per game on the ground. With George MacIntyre making his first collegiate start on the road, I would expect Tennessee to lean on the run game.
On Wednesday night’s initial Southeastern Conference availability report, Tennessee listed running back Javin Gordon and quarterback Faizon Brandon as questionable. Freshman defensive lineman Kedric Golston II is also listed as out for the second consecutive week.
As for everyone else who is listed as out, those are the season-ending injuries that were accumulated over fall camp and the first four weeks of the season. On Thursday night, the second edition of this week’s report was released, and there were no changes for the Vols heading into Saturday at this time.
As for Arkansas, defensive back Shelton Lewis is no longer listed on the report.
