Week 1 is finally here, and a full slate of college football is already underway. With all the uproar over who’s eligible and court visits, hopefully the action can give us all some sanity in these bizarre times. Everyone in the SEC is on schedule for the weekend, with Mizzou’s opener already in the books. The Tigers defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Thursday, 54-14.
The Oklahoma Sooners will take on UTEP on Friday night. You can catch that game at 8 p.m. ET on SEC Network+.

While the opening week doesn’t look exciting, because that’s just the way the first week goes, it’s football and that is all that matters. Clemson at LSU and Louisville vs. Ole Miss are the two to watch for sure. But don’t miss out on some key things to look for.
How will Faizon Brandon’s first collegiate start go for Tennessee? Vanderbilt elected to go with Blaze Berlowitz over highly touted freshman Jared Curtis. Both quarterbacks will play, so I am sure people will dissect that. Could Baylor and Auburn be a good one? Let’s just enjoy the first full weekend of college football.
