Wednesday, the Southeastern Conference revealed the 2027 SEC softball schedule. League play will begin the weekend of March 12-14 and will bring the Lady Vols a road challenge in College Station, Texas, right off the bat against Texas A&M.
The league wraps up regular-season play the weekend of May 6-8. Tennessee will host the Missouri Tigers that weekend, a series played Thursday through Saturday. The 2027 SEC Tournament will be hosted at Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama, May 11-15.
Head coach Karen Weekly’s Lady Vols are coming off a 49-12 2026 season that ended with the program’s 10th trip to the Women’s College World Series. Tennessee will face a tough SEC slate to no one’s surprise.
Eight conference series are split between home and away, and there are no back-to-back weeks at home or on the road. Week two brings the Texas Longhorns to Sherri Parker Lee Stadium, the program that has eliminated the Lady Vols in Oklahoma City the last two seasons. It is also the team that new associate head coach Ehren Earleywine departed to join Weekly’s staff.
Tennessee will have a conference bye week April 16-18. Below is the complete SEC slate for the Lady Vols.
