On Saturday, the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic revealed the participating teams for 2027. The event is set to take place Feb. 25-28 in Cathedral City, Calif.
Tennessee was not part of the 2026 field. The Lady Vols last played in the classic in 2025, and went 3-2 against a field that included Oregon and UCLA. Tennessee is one of two Southeastern Conference teams in the 2027 field. Mississippi State is the other.
